Location

CHCS is located near Lawrenceville, Georgia, two and a half miles north of Highway 316 on Collins Hill Road (view map). Our mailing address is 1612 Collins Hill Road, Lawrenceville, GA 30043. Our telephone number is 770-962-0642.

Faculty

The average years of teaching experience is 17. Our faculty are well qualified, born-again, caring, and seek to model Christ and provide an excellent Christian education.

Ratio Per Teacher/Student

• Four year olds: 12 students - 2 classes available, see the Pre-K page for information regarding the three options available.
• Kindergarten through third grade: No more than 20 students per class; two classes of each grade
• Fourth through eighth grade: No more than 30 students, one class per grade;  limited new enrollment spaces

School Hours

• 4-year-old Pre-school - see Pre-K page
• Kindergarten through third grade: 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• Fourth grade through eighth grade: 8:25 AM to 3:15 PM

Application Fees For 2008/2009 School Year

• Four year olds: $100.00
• New Student: $150.00 ($300 maximum per family)
• Re-enrollment: $100 ($300 maximum per family)

Testing Fee For All New Students

$25.00              Kindergarten through eighth grade

Tuition For 2008/2009 School Year

• 4-year-old Pre-school: see pre-K page
• Kindergarten through Eighth grade: $3,500.00 a year or 10-month plan at $350.00 per month

First payment of 10-month plan is due August 1 and ends May 1. Lump-sum payments must be paid by July 1.

Book Fee

• Kindergarten: $175.00
• First & Second Grades:  $225.00
• Third - Sixth Grades: $240.00
• Seventh and Eighth Grades: $260.00

All book fees are due June 1.

CHCS is a member of The Georgia Association of Christian Schoolsand The American Association of Christian Schools.

Dress Code

Kindergarten through eighth grade students at CHCS are required to wear uniforms which must be purchased through Buckhead Uniforms. The colors are yellow, gold, purple, tan, and black.
