CHCS History

Collins Hill Christian School is a ministry of Collins Hill Baptist Church. The school opened its doors in the fall of 1994 with a preschool and first grade consisting of twenty-one students. The enrollment has grown to 275 students in preschool through eighth grade. The campus has doubled from two buildings consisting of ten rooms to four buildings totaling twenty-two rooms and a gymnasium. Our faculty and staff have grown from three in 1994 to over thirty today.

From the start, Pastor Billy Driskell, Mr. Dan Huff, the administration and the faculty and staff have labored to sharpen, focus, strengthen and improve the school’s spiritual and academic program. Teaching, training, and helping students achieve their best for God both spiritually and academically is the essence of CHCS.
